Professional Profile
Dr. Lisa Vaillancourt is a Professor and the Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Plant Pathology. Dr. Vaillancourt has been involved with cooperative research projects with scientists at the Federal Universities in Lavras (UFLA) and Viçosa (UFV) in Brazil for more than ten years. She directs the dual degree program with UFV, which makes it possible for a student to obtain simultaneous Ph.D. and Doctoral degrees in Plant Pathology from U.K. and UFV.
